A little about me

I'm a senior at Waubonsie Valley High School in Aurora, Illinois, and I'm drawn to business, economics, and mathematics. These subjects help explain almost everything around us, from what ends up on the dinner table to how governments treat their people.

My first real lesson in markets came from Pokémon cards. I've loved them since second grade, and eventually I realized every card behaves like a stock: its price moves with supply, demand, and timing. Researching those swings taught me to read markets. Today I bring the same thinking to stocks and to my own research on how different generations manage money, mentored by a Stanford alum and startup founder.

Tennis has been part of my life for over ten years. Starting every day with jump rope and hard drills taught me discipline and how to stay steady under pressure, and it took my UTR from 1.2 to 6. I've played varsity all four years, I'm team captain, and I coach younger kids through a free youth program.

Model UN is where I found my voice. I started high school unsure of myself. Today I chair ECOFIN and have spoken in front of hundreds of people. That's the thread through everything I do: prepare thoroughly, speak with confidence, and lift others along the way.

Where I'm headed: I want to study business, economics, or mathematics in college and learn to find the variables that predict what comes next, in markets and in the decisions people make with money.

Outside the classroom: tennis, collecting and grading Pokémon cards, following the markets, and drawing.
